Ketterer Spezialfahrzeuge GmbH was founded in 1990 in Karlsbad by Michael and Ulrike Ketterer.

Work commenced with 3 employees in an 800 m² building and with the ambitious objective of producing horse trucks for customers with high expectations.
With the first K2 model series, Limited edition, Regioliner and Euroliner, Ketterer built up an image of being a specialist in luxury transporters with top-class interiors and very tasteful design.

But the major break-through came with the PROFESSIONAL model series. In February 1995, world champion Franke Sloothaak was the first customer to be wowed by the quality of this Professional series.
The constant innovations and further developments together with the realisation of our customers’ personal wishes led to the gradual success.
Especially in the horse compartment, we have always and still build everything to this day as to be as comfortable as possible in order to make transportation as stress-free as possible for the horses.
The ambitious aim: to be one of the leading suppliers of luxury horse trucks with fantastic design and state-of-the-art technology in Europe was achieved after just 10 years of hard work and perseverance.
